Mitchell County Home Health Care & Public Health strives to Maintain, Strengthen, Improve and Safeguard the health of individuals, families and the communities in Mitchell County.  Home Health and Public Health services are for the client, the family, and the community.  We believe individuals and families have the right to make informed decisions and choices regarding their health care and independence. Services through Home Health and Public Health are available to EVERYONE residing in Mitchell County...from the young to the elderly, no matter what income, race, or gender.  Come visit us at our new location: 415 Pleasant St - Suite 100 in Osage, Iowa.  The office is located in the west wing of the building. Office hours are 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday.  Answering machine available 7 days a week.  Weekend help available. 
In
March 2005 – IFMC ( Iowa Foundation of Medical Care) awarded us recognition for improvement in pain interfering for being in the top 25% of Home Care Agencies in the Nation. In November 2006 - we were notified by IFMC that our agency is one of 20 in Iowa to achieve a benchmark improvment in Acute Care Hospitalzation. In 2006, 2007, & 2008 OCS Inc awarded us recognition for quality care, quality improvement, and financial performance for being in the top 25% of Home Care Agencies in the Nation.
