The St. Ansgar JEL group preformed an assembly for the entire high school during the month of October of 2006. The group shared with the students and staff the reality of the effects of smoking. They creatively showed this through out the week also by posting 12 black cardboard cutouts each day for one week to represent the ones who have died each day from tobacco related causes in Iowa. During the assembly the members read off 12 obituaries, all related to a tobacco related cause. This project was a big eye opener!!
